Pivot Table - to redo or not to redo....

I have a pivot table based on a Query. If I go to the query and add another field then how can I bring this into the Pivot table without having to completly redo the pivot table. I have redone this blasted pivot table a ton of times. Each time I send it to the powers they go...great...now can we also bring in...blah blah blah...and then I have been redoing the complete pivot table..
Any Suggestions? Thanks

Has there ever been a resolution to this problem? I am running Access 2000 and I have the same problem.

Any help would be appreciated.
