...so I'm a humble office administrator who dabbled in access about 6 years ago and is now hooked! I don't have any programming background, purely applications as I started off in secretarial school and have been working since 17. I started a new job recently organising the office for a friend whose business has taken off very quickly and I've built a database I'm extremely proud of with the help of Allen Browne's example (genius) databases. I'd now like to get serious about this and develop my skills further hopefully with some help from you guys! Has anyone else fallen into access through trying to solve a filing problem in work? I live in Northern Ireland and my other interests at the moment are gardening, making soap and sewing pants (yes really!).
