Let me preface with this: I dislike Macs. I really dislike macs.

Unfortunately my boss uses one, though the rest of the business uses PC's.

I need to get a small access program onto his mac. I don't think it can be done, easily if at all. Is it possible that developer tools exist for Office for Mac and it could be as simple as moving the files from pc to his mac, and packaging them on his mac?

Does a program exist that can do a conversion? Or, does an emulator exist such as WinE for linux that emulates windows?

My suggestion was that he buy a PC

I'm not very familiar with Macs myself however I know you can dual boot with Windows if you want to. This way you can put Access on the windows side of the PC. I don't think they make access in the Mac office version.

there is no Access for mac, so the only way to run an access db is to load windows (use parallels, boot camp or VM) on the mac and install access.

not sure but can't you use filemaker and have it point at the data on the server . again not sure I was going to try to do this on one of my macs just never got round to it.
