I'm attempting to initiate a combine power query from a folder with several .DIF files. Each file should have the same layout with 3 columns of data. That being said when attempting to combined all the data pulls into one column. I'm new to this, so I'm not sure what it is i'm doing wrong. Please help as this is going to have to be an ongoing process for database updating purposes.

I don't know what a ".dif" file is, but maybe the file is delimited in some way that you have'nt properly specified to the app (power query) which is trying to read it in.

When in doubt, try opening the file in Notepad++ and see what the delimiter appears to be
