Printing a report with subreports & criteria

Hello all,

I've got a report which contains two subreports. When the report is open the user must provide a criteria, in this case the year, and the report will generate using two subreports that use the same criteria.

The issue is this: When I go to print the report it will ask for the criteria three times, once each for the report and two subreports, and then it will print. While not a huge issue, it's kind of a pain for the end user to repeatedly have to enter the criteria. Is there anyway around this?

Most of us would use a form to gather the user input, and have each of the 3 reports look for it there.

Okay, so if I use a form to collect the criteria prior to viewing the form, it should also pass to the report when it's printed thus alleviating the need to re-enter the criteria at all, correct?

Yes, as long as it stays open.
