Basically I have a report that stretches 16 inches wide and about 24 inches down(almost two full pages on tabloid setting). I need to be able to print this onto a plotter. Access does not allow anything over 22 inches, so I need a new approach. I have tried acrobat, but it seems that it saves each report page to a new page in acrobat. This is a problem because I want to group everything on one page(the plotter cuts after each page, which I don't want)

Any ideas?

When you created this report did you nominate the plotter as the printer source for the report? Access should be governed by the printer properties not the other way around.

I don't think i did, how do I do this? The plotter is set to my default... but i did not nominate it as the printer source for report!

Design the report and go into Page Setup

Then select the middle tab Page Then click Use specific Printer.

I think he's still going to face the limits...

Yeah thats what I did. Still can't get past 22.75 inches, and there is not page customization that allows me to choose a very long page(40inches lets say). It's weird that you can do custom print pages in word but not access:(

Maybe that's your work-around - Maybe embed the output in a word document?

Actually that does work. Just missing any Colour that I've added before (alternate line colour and lines) though this will have to do. Maybe save it as a pdf, then into a jpeg, and paste all of the pages into photoshop? i will try this!

According to the Access specifications, the page width is limited to 22 inches. The spec is silent on the length. However, it appears that the limit does apply to the length as well.
