I'm experiencing a few problems putting database's on other pc's. All pc's are running with the same versions of access but when I put my database on them I have problems. The database is working perfectly on my pc.

Problems are: Some activex components won't work properly. (eg a treeview shows the nodes twice, numbers won't show on calander)

Some of the functions don't seem to be recognised and come up with errors, even when I try to get definition, it dosn't seem to find them (eg 'Width' from 'Forms Class' insn't recognised) And all the same libraries are referenced.
if function isn't working, is there a way of doing this???

Any help would be appreciated

I have seen this before. The issue for me was always the version of MDAC, meaning the versions of the libraries were different. Talk to your IT people and see if there is a standard. They can write a logon script to roll out a consistant version.

There are no IT people in these places! How are these logon scripts written or where can I get information for this?
Thanks

A logon script will run when user first logs onto the network.
It can be used to run software, synchronize time, map drives etc.
This would save you the hassle of going an installing the MDAC update on every pc.
You should be able to download the required MDAC version from Microsoft.
I would download it and install it on one of the problem pc's to see if it cures your problem
