I posted about this sometime last year, and never got an answer. I have a multi-user database, with front-ends on each user's computer and a back-end on the network.
Everything is working fine at the moment, except for one computer. There are a series of reports, each containing lists of dates, that are based on underlying queries. When this particular user generates any of these reports, the numbers do not show. Not on her screen, not when she prints, just no numbers. The numbers are there in the query. This does not happen on any other machines. It stopped happening for more than 6 months, and suddenly started again.
Our computer help people have no suggestions. It's driving me (and the user) crazy! Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Totally shooting from the hip here, but try changing that user's default printer to one that matches the default printer on a working PC. It may be a problem with a printer driver.

That was a good idea. I tried it, and they still don't show up. What I did was remove the current printers, then add the correct printers that everyone else uses. Should I have restarted in between?
It's utterly mystifying! Thanks for your help!

Restarting shouldn't matter. Since Access uses the default printer to render the report, I hoped that changing to a different printer would solve the problem. This is strange, and I'm stumped too. I'll poke around and see if I can find anything. Nothing strange in her regional settings for date formats or whatever?

I checked regional settings, but didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. The only drama is that her computer is set up for Chinese. The default is English(US), but then she has simplified Chinese, Taiwan Chinese, etc. etc. etc. She ahs two programs that enable her to type in Chinese, and must use a language bar that comes with it, not just the normal Windows language stuff. Also, she's using Windows NT/Office 2000. These are all the relevant facts I can think of. Do you think the Chinese could be the problem?
Thanks for your ideas!

I suppose I'd suspect anything that was unique about that particular PC. I've never had a PC set up with Chinese (or anything other than English), so I'd only be speculating.
