protect data

hello everyone hope you had a nice Christmas.

this is my doubt.

i have this form and is displays the field Pkey whitch is a reference number on a client. this is to be seen by the user.

i want to prevent the user to edit this field.

how to?
in the properties panel of the field in the data separator says "protected" and default is no: am i to define it as yes.

simple doubt hã?

Go to the properties for the field on the form, set the Locked property to yes.
