Queries not available to query

1st post, read the "how to post" stickies...ok, breezed through them.

I currently have 4 saved queries. When I start a select query, or use the query wizard, only my table are available.

Asking for future reference, I simply expect that at some point I am going to need to "query a query"

Maybe this should be posted in the Query Discussion, but seems very general.

You realize queries are on a separate tab? Are they SELECT queries? Action queries wouldn't be listed.

If your queries are valid queries they should be available to other queries. My guess is they aren't valid queries. Can you run your 4 saved queries and do they produce data?

Hello Jeds, Welcome to AWF..

Can you not Queries in the tabs (if you use Query Design) or DropDown (if you are using Query Wizard) It should show up something like..

pbalby, I believe they are action queries thus my answer, thanks.

They are update and append queries.

plog, they all work. pr2-eugin, I think pbaldy's answer is why they aren't available in either case.
