Query Madness

I am trying to build a query that will prompt the user to enter a department name as well as a sub department name. We have been able to accomplish this, but would now like all sub departments listed if the sub department parameter is not entered.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

why not create a form with combo boxes on them that list the primary and secondary departments in their own box. Let the user select from the list which depts to query on..hit a button and pass the box values to the query.

Brilliant! Which action would I choose for the button to pass the information from the boxes to the query?

use the buttons On_Click event.
