Quickest/shortest route between 2 postcodes

I've had a look at the following post from a while back. And I need to do the same thing - 'ish.

I have a couple of fields, Start_Pcode & End_Pcode and I want to find the quickest or shortest route between the two. Nirvana is opening a recordset and calculating using VBA.

There seems to be loads of stuff that'll work out the distance 'as the crow flies' but that's not what I'm after!

Any ideas much appreciated!

quickest/shortest as in road layouts?

i would think most satnav firms have spent millions doing that, and have a fully digitised road layout to assist them.

the other thread offered a few midway solutions, and i dont think youll get a lot better than that easily
