I searched the forums, but was unable to find anything that matched what I was looking for, so I opted to start a new thread. If this is already out there somewhere, I apologize for this thread :)

Anyway, here is what I am looking to do:

1.) Generate a random number between 1 and 100 and assign the result an identifier, like a person's name.
2.) Generate a second random number between 1 and 100 and assign the result a different identifier, like another person's name.
3.) Compare the two randomly generated numbers.
4.) Have the identifier of the LARGER random number displayed on the screen.

I would like to have this linked into a button click.

I am hoping there is an easy way to accomplish this task. I am open to any help the community can provide, but PLEASE, use small words (very small). It has been quite some time since I have done any programming/design work in Access.

Thank-you in advance to everyone!!

Thanks jdraw, I will definitely head over and read up.

Apologies for the cross-post. Was not aware the forums were linked. Thought they were separate. Completely my mistake and I do apologize for that :o

The forums are not linked. Many readers are familiar with several forums and participate in many.
The point is that most forums consider it proper etiquette to identify and inform readers of cross posts.
