Read Only Error when trying to export

Hey, I hope you can help me with this one,

I designed a tool in Access 2007 that updates every week using another Access 2007 file. The way I do it, is creating this updater file with a form that has a button that has some saved export steps to the Main file.

It works OK, for all the users but for one. His computer is running Windows vista and he has just installed Office 2007.

The error that he gets is that when he clicks on the updater's form button, he gets an error saying that the main file (xxx.accde) file is read only. I checked its properties, and it's not read only. I also gave full controll permissions for that user, so I don't know what else could it be.

Does anybody knows what could be causing it?

Any Ideas? Anyone? At least some brainstorm quick guesses? please, I need to know what coul be happening. My vista knowledge is very limited so anything could do.

You apparently do not have write permission on that directory. You probably have enough permission to create a file from the explorer but you might need to run Access as an administrator to be able to create files from within Access.

rightclick your database and run as administrator
