Hi Everyone,
I have a split database that generally has no problems. I loaded this application on a Dell Sever running WinXP Professional, and I have been unable to open in the program using access runtime. I can open the frontend fine by using access directly, but when I try to use the access runtime, I get a message "Records cannont be read, no read permissions on SwithBoard Items".
I checked that the file is not read only, and that the backend folder is shared and allows network users to edit my files.
I am baffled, but have a strong feeling it has something to do with Win XP.
The funny part is that remote workstations running Win XP, can access the backend on the server through access runtime without a problem.
Any thoughts ???
Thanks Chris
