I am going to try my best to explain this properly, I have a table for karaoke songs that consists of three fields, song number (primary key), title, and artist. So I created a report using the report wizard which came out very nicely so that I could print a book of the songs. The problem I am having is that there are 65,000 songs and you can imagine how many pages this is. I want to repeat the same three columns on the same page which should cut the number of pages directly in half. This is what I have now:
In the Page Header I have Artist, Song Title, Song number
In the Header I have: Artis
Details: Song Title and Song Number
I can make the font small to be readable and I can see there is enough room on the page to do this. I have tried adding existing fields in the exact same places to right of the existing one's but this just copies the data from the left. What I am trying to do is have the data read down in order on the left side and continue at the top of the right side and from there go to the next page continuing on the left side and so on.........

1. Remove the extra fields and take your detail section and size it to just where the fields end.

2. Go to FILE > PAGE SETUP

3. Select the COLUMNS tab.

4. Set the NUMBER OF COLUMNS to 3.

5. Click OK and see how that works. You might need to make some adjustments (because remember you also have page margins to worry about).

Oh, and I forgot:

AWESOME that worked perfectly now I have two columns with the data for song number, title and artist is there anyway to also repeat the column headings?

First, make sure your heading labels are in the Group Header, not the Page or Report headers. Right click on the Group Header to bring up the Properties, and set the "Repeat Section" property to Yes.
