I have a report where the layout width in design view is 8", but I get a warning stating that I have a Section Width greater than the page setup width. I cannot seem to find what is causing this. I have noticed that when I print the documentation for the report, I have a rather large number (11520) for LogicalPageWidth. Might this mean something? If I change the Page Setup to Landscape, the warning and the extra blank pages go away, but the printed report still does not give me a clue on where to find this extra hidden 'width'. My client will not want to print these documents in landscape, or throw away blank pages.
Can anyone help me track this down? Thanks.

The extra width you're looking for is probably the margins. If your report's width is 8" you'll need to lower the left and right margins to 0.25" each. Margins can be adjusted in the Page Setup. Your logical width value is fine. Hope this helps.

Abby,

Thanks! You put me on the right track! My COLUMN WIDTH in Page Setup was 8.5. I reduced it to 8.0 and everything is fine now.
