Report SHould not print

Hi all

I have field and contains 2 values, 1 value has got data & another one has't got any data. when I select & print with 2nd value the data which contains the 1st value being printing. So I don't want print like that and I want to develop as "system give a pop up message like No Data" when I print with 2nd value. Can any one tell me how to do like this?

Open the popup on the report section (containing the field) OnFormat event.
