Report size -question

Guys - quickie

I have a contract that needs to be typed up and it is a fixed report (no changes)

Now what i had in mind was a report with 6-7 sub reports within it to get round the number of pages i need- is there a max number of sub reports to a report


out line of set up
Report 1 the price of the product
report 2 the contract (could be upto 12-15 pages long- made up of 6-7 sub reports -just formated data)
then a couple of other reports

all merge into 1 doc(report ) to make a report of say up to 20 pages
report 2 will be fixed (never changing)

hope this makes sense - I don't see a problem with it - but some comments would not go amiss

I've never tried this, but here is a suggestion. You might want to define a macro to run at the completion of report 1 to run report 2, then another at the end of 2 to run report 3, etc. You would define a macro to open/run report 2, then link that macro in the Event Properties, "on close" for the previous report 1.
