Hi Guys.

I have a two tables.

The first has Salesman and RSM.

The second has a lookup to select the salesman from a drop down.

How can I get it so that I can do another lookup field that returns the RSM of the salesman chosen?

I want to create an e-mail button that will e-mail the salesman Cc the RSM.

lookups in tables are a bad idea - see this link http://access.mvps.org/access/lookupfields.htm

However OK to use in forms.

Ensure your combo has a rowsource which includes the RSM, then in another control or vba you can refer to it by column number - which start from 0 so if your RSM is the 2nd field in it would be

mycombonamehere.column(1)

Thanks CJ.

I'll sort out the lookup and I'm pretty sure i'm on track with the combo box.
