Hi,

I was wondering if it would be a good idea if there had to be a section on these forums where members could post samples of their databases so that they can be reviewed by other members. I am aware of the samples databases forum, but my idea is the other way round ... i notice (myself included) that sometimes we are proud of a feature we added, only to find out later that the new feature is just asking for trouble or there are better ways to address it.

Suggestions made from experienced members on a database in general will certainly help fellow members know if they are on the right track with Access, and what can be done to improve their database overall.

Just an idea :) and thanks everyone for all the support which you give on these forums.

I think it's a great idea. Upload your finished db, others could download it and use it and then write a review for others to read - !

I wonder if this forum engine has that functionality - ? Seems it would need a dedicated mod / admin...

Hi Ken,

Thanks for your reply and positive support. Actually, any member of this forum can attach databases in a thread to support his question, therefore i don't think that there would be the need for any dedicated mod/admin, unless there are other security issues which i am not aware of.

Actually, i have suggested this idea because i use to hang around a web development forum where people can post links to their web sites, and other members will review and give their opinions, and the tips/advices which you get, they will always help you make a better product.
