Hello,

how can I remove the ribbon in access 2007 with vba?
I think I saw a topic about this problem but I can't find it with the search ...

Thanks in advance,
Sven.

Hello,

in the solution that you mention there is a line:

Also add the following XML:
<CustomUI xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/2006/01/CustomUI">
<Ribbon startFromScratch="true"/></CustomUI>

How do I add this XML?

Thanks in advance,
Sven.

i have no idea Sven. I am not experienced in it. perhaps you can get another answer on another forum. I apologize for not being able to follow up with you. I just pointed you in the right dir.

A simple solution is to make your form pop-up and maximize on current. Of course this may not suite your needs.

Just put VB code in mainform on open:

DoCmd.ShowToolbar "Ribbon", acToolbarNo

I think that's you need :)
