Right to work states

All you Fox haters out there, can you honestly say you approve that the other network not reporting the violence in this union protest including tearing down the other side’s tent with people inside? Can you honestly say you approve of tearing down the test?

Violence is never the answer, but emotions can run high when rights are being restricted and people feel their government is failing them. Boston Tea Party, anyone?

Jax, I don't know if you are one of the Fox News haters, but either way you did not address the main question. Do you think it is right that all the other networks haven't covered the violence at all.

The good thing about the ultra right conservative movement headed by Fox and Company; It keeps the Republican Party from getting too many of their candidates elected. LOL

I like this quote: “Always remember what you goal is, but it’s hard to remember that your goal was to drain the swamp when you are up to your ear in alligators”. I don’t remember where I got it anybody know?

When You're Up to Your A$$ in Alligators.....

The objective of all dedicated employees is to thoroughly
analyze all situations, anticipate all problems prior to
their occurrence, have answers for these problems, and move
swiftly to solve these problems when called upon.

However, when you are up to your a$$ in alligators, it is
difficult to remember that your initial objective was to
drain the swamp.

Public employees have no business being in a Union.

A$$ or ears, who is the author?

Rabbie,
Are you familiar with what President Regan did with the Air Traffic Controllers?

Really? So the government should be allowed to not treat them fairly? I disagree with you on this one. Everyone should be allowed to collectively protect themselves from unfair practices in any business or government capacity.

It is one thing if someone wants to strike not to make Twinkies or against an evil rich guy, nobody is going to die. Nobody is saying that Police, Fire etc. should not be treated fairly. In fact I think they should be treated better than average. The process by which they should be treated above average, however, cannot be striking. We can’t jeopardize the safety of the whole US. Not only would that put the safety of whole countries, cities and states be in jeopardy, but the “Union” not necessarily the brave men and women, but the “Unions” would be able to hold a gun to our head as they know we can’t barging with people’s life’s. The process has to legislatively, even knowing that process is slow and far from perfect. That’s where you and I need to come in and make sure that our brave people are taken care of.

Sounds like this guy is a Union Official
GCF: Division of Labor

Newly married, my husband and I had several heated discussions
concerning the division of household chores. I complained that I was
doing the lion's share.

Not long after, I returned home and found every second room vacuumed,
the dishes washed and the laundry done and folded. I was even more
touched to find "I love you" drawn in the dust on every second shelf
of the bookcases.

No. I was living in Sweden during the Reagan presidency. I don't see quite what my knowledge or lack of of it about something that happened more than 20 years ago has to do with public employees having the right to belong to a union.

Rabbie,

That was done because the contract between the Controllers and the People of the United States specifically prohibited strikes.

It was a roundabout way to damage the middle class, and fire the first shot of the war on the middle class. But it was not directly about unions. In those days they had to be a little more discrete than now,
