I know you can rotate Text and Label boxes by setting the vertical property to yes. But that only rotates 90 deg (i.e. readable from the left).

What if you want it readable from the right (roatated 270 deg) or better yet upside down (rated 180 deg).

I found something by Stephen Lebans listed at
www.mvps.org
and
www.lebans.com

However, it is for Labels ONLY not Text Boxes which means it is not bound and he says that is resource intensive if you are going to use it on a report. Which I am since I am printing labels.

Sorry everyone, bumping this back up.

Giving this one last try. Does anyone have any ideas?

I was looking at that from Lebans. I requires the OCX to be installed on every computer that uses it and our IT dept frowns on third party undocumented apps to start with. I think I am stuck with what Access has or... my other option is a mail merge with MSWord which I havn't tried yet.

Another problem I ran into was using the Access Vertical property I noticed that I could see it just fine but the test user could not. No text or labels.

Any ideas why I could see it and not another user.

If their system doesn't have the same service packs for Office and Windows, that could cause it.

I'll check with the IT people, we should all have the same SPs. Beyond that I'm redesigning it not to use vertical and (only) if necessary I will switch to a mail-merge.

Thanks for your help,

Has this been resolved in Access 2007?

I had to create a text box in Word, rotate it correctly and then paste that into my form as a picture. Strange that there limitations on text direction in Access 2003.

Sorry to post into a very old thread. I am asking the same question as cardgunner. Has this been resolved in 2007?
