I need advice as to where to start my retraining. I have 28 years experience programming for main frame aps (14 special languages) and I programed several Access database back around 2003 -2009. What I am looking for is a code reference card/or? that will allow me to look up the purpose of a code like 'Me.'. Is there a quick reference guide? I have ample Access coding aid books but none have what I need. Should I be seeking a Visual Basic reference? TIA :banghead:

Don't know about any that would contain ME (which refers to the current class object), but this is a good book:

Access 2007 VBA Programmers Reference

(I used that one because I don't have a copy of the 2010 one and I actually do have this one and know the authors personally)

I just got a used 2010 version of the book that Bob has recommended to you. I think you can get a used one in good condition for < $20 thru Amazon (I did). You can look up the Title and see the reviews by different users. I think it's a reasonable book - has a lot of Sharepoint and Web database info that I've never seen before. Has a good section on Class modules and all code samples can be downloaded from WROX.

I don't think there is any think there is anything like a quick reference card.

I think the closest thing is Google and techonthenet.com; then there are forums like this one. There are some youtube videos that are good, but sometimes you have to know specifically what you're looking for.
