I have created a set of excel files that I wish to keep in a external USB drive, that with be used on multiple computers.

How do I code directory details so the lookups and save directory are always on external drive

would the URI not contain the drive letter. How will this change if the drive letter changes from computer to computer. Or am I being completely stupid.

Example
ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs "f:\Weekly Sales\Daily Sales\" & "Daily Sales Week" & "_" & WKno & ".xls"
 
You could try using the path property of the workbook.
 
Exactly. As long as the Database is on the same "drive", you can extract the drive letter and thus create the URI using the Path property of the current database.
