Saving to %Documents%

HI,
I have an access program and i want it to save a copy into a location... ive got it so it can save however - i want it to save to the current users documents folder (win 7)

what file path would i use?

Before rejecting the advice provided by someone who has taken the time to respond and knows what they are talking about, why don't you investigate what it means?

Environ is a function which returns information about the current environment so Spike was almost correct.

Try

Environ("userprofile") & "\documents"

 

[vbaInet]

Environ returns the path to the user profile, not the path to the default home folder. That path can change.

Documents (or My Documents) is a special folder and the path can be gotten using WScript.
