Hello,

What is the difference between the Screen object and "Me"

Dont they both refer to the active form?

Is there any difference really?

Thanks
Phil

The Screen object refers to the form or control that currently has Focus, Me is used inside a form's code to refer to itself. Screen could be used in a public module to get the name of whatever form currently has focus using Screen.ActiveForm.

the screen object has properties of active controls (forms, reports, controls, etc, as dj said) as well as mousepointer, parent and application (Access).

Technically, ME refers to the current class object (usually a form or report when used in Access)

Wow, I didn't know this would work even for custom class. Way cool!

Me is the same as:

With CodeContextObject

You can then refer to the form or Object as [.] a dot
