this is WIP - part of a hotel booking system designed to work with touchscreen or mouse. Orange buttons slide to select start and length of period to display on screen - alternatively user can slide on year/month/date to zoom in.

Grid will show existing bookings and downtime for maintenance etc which they can click on to drill down, or click on an empty section to make a new booking/downtime.
