Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen,
I've registered as a new member.
I'd like some help with some questions.
I've used Excel for years, but now it's unusable; sorting takes a minute.
So I switched to Access and spent four weeks struggling to create a similar database. While I'm fairly familiar with Excel, Access is more complicated.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For example, in Excel, I had a macro called "if cell T6 is true (check mark) then call," which works well. This isn't possible in Access i think?
now i have try this but no data
button click [in_uit] Like "*" & [transacties_frm01]![subformulier transacties_qry01_ALL]![in_uit] Like "uitgaven"
the field is "in_uit" and the name that i search is "uitgaven"
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
the listbox is maybe a solution but complex i think?
now i search with
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Like "*" & [forms].[transacties_frm01].[Oin_uitZoek] & "*"
Private Sub Oin_uitZoek_AfterUpdate()
Me.Recalc
Me.Oin_uitZoek.SelStart = Nz(Len(Me.Oin_uitZoek))
End Sub
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
greetings Jan

Welcome to the forum :)

Can you post a copy of the db and tell us something about its purpose.

Please post code between CODE tags to retain indentation and readability.

Mostly whatever you do in Excel could be replicated in Access.

Why would you need Recalc? Don't think I've ever seen this used.

Image of subform is not, it is image of query design view. Cannot reference listbox control in query.
Image of listbox does not even look like an Access listbox control.
