Security File Upgrade MDA to MDW (1 Viewer)

Probably a silly question - just me be lazy - is there a simple way to convert a MDA security file (Access V2) to an MDW (Access 97).
Without having to retype all the groups, user names - import everything .....

I have inheritted an OLD (!!) database which was originnaly Access V2 - was connverted to run in 97 but still uses an old System.MDA file - but it has lots of groups and hundreds of users and the permissions are very complex - don't fancy retyping everything - but am starting to have problems with some of the 'security' permissions for new objects.

any suggestions ?
