Security issues

I have looked and searched everywhere, if some could point me to a link that will walk me step by step on how to setup the security on the DB I would greatly appreciate it. I have look at the following link:

The problem I have is that I go to a different computer on the network and try to log in it does work. Either it tell me the person doesn't have access to the program or they can get in without logging in.

If you can even tell me what book to buy I will buy it. I have messed up a couple of computers now because now the people have to login just to open any DB. I have to figure out how to stop that.

Len - you are awesome, thanks for the how-to paper. You should post that somewhere for anyone trying to do security can search for it.

One flaw I did fine was in the shortcuts, but I was able to figure that one out.....
