I noticed that someone on here, some time ago, posted a link to a sample form that showed how to limit the items in a second combo box list based on the selected item from the first combo box list. Unfortunately I cannot locate the item, so could someone help?
I have a form with two drop downs.
Combo 1 lists all the possible Year Groups
Year 7
Year 8
Year 9
Year 10
Year 11
Year 12
Whilst Combo 2 lists all the possible classes (eg.)
EMC Year 9
FKA Year 9
AAK Year 9
CBJ Year 9
SAT Year 10
NHA Year 10
MMU Year 10
NTL Year 10
MVI Year 11
ECO Year 11
BAB Year 11
MSE Year 11
IGA Year 7
LBR Year 7
RML Year 7
KSM Year 7
CCR Year 8
TAL Year 8
MWH Year 8
SSH Year 8
I would like the user to select, say, Year 7 in Combo 1 and when opening Combo 2, only the possible Year 7 classes should be there, thereby limiting the choice in combo 2 and thus reducing the chance of error. In other words limiting the choice from 20 possible entries to 4 possible entries.
How is this done?
