How to zip mdb via vba ?

I have attached 2 procedures in a zip that I have used in the past. I got these from another forum.
I just tried them and they work for me (Access2003, XP sp3).

Take a look at my sample.

I think you could put these procs in a module in a small database.
Then identify the mdb to be zipped, and use these routines.

You could use a FilePicker.


Note: If you're just looking to backup your mdb, then do a Google search on Helen Feddema Access Backup.

I have a Backup routine from her dated 2003/ modified: 2005.
Creates a series of Backup files and records them in a table.
