Sending database as attachment in Access

Well here goes : ) .....

I have been given a large database that contains many tables, i need to grab certain fields and create an instance of a database, (named after client selected) then, hopefully, mail that attachment within the function of a button on GUI within Access.

Do i need to learn API to acheive this?
Any suggestions in general??

To include an attachment with your e-mail, you need to use automation because SendObject won't do this. Here's how to use automation to send an e-mail attachment: http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q209/9/48.asp
