Is there a simple way to set the font size/name before building a report? It is defaulting to 8 and I want 12. There is a record template with the size 12 but it isn't using that.
Help, please?
Thanks,
Dave

You can create a report template with these options set as you like and use it as a default using Options->Form/Reports->Report Template.

Would this do what you want?

I did create a template- but the new reports are not using the font info from there.

Hum... I couldn't get that to work either.

I think you can select the control on the toolbar and press F4 to bring up the default properties.

What control would I select for a report that isn't built yet?

I am absolutely amazed sometimes with how 'clunky' Access acts.

I am using 2003 right now...

Thanks for the suggestions!
Dave

You just do a new report and do the F4 thing. Then from there on out the new defaults will take affect. It's not tied to any one report. You just have to have a report open in design view to get to the tool bar control buttons.

no there is an easier way than this - tools option and in the tabs change the defaults to what you need

You can set table fonts but not reports from the options menu in 2003....

ignore me - - i am being a muppet as usual -

but i am sure there is a method of doing this - (I am sure someone showed me )
