Set the background colour on a report

Hiya,

I'm probably being completely blonde here, but I can't sem to work out how to change the background colour of a report.

I've set the header, detail & footer background colours, but when it's in print preview, it comes up with big white borders that look really messy. Also, if there's only a couple of items in the source query, rather than filling the detail background colour to the bottom of the page, it comes out white there too.

Is there a way of setting the background of the entire report so it matches the other colour backgrounds I've applied?

Are you sure your in Print Preview and not Layout View?

What version of Access? When I set each section to a specific color that does not happen. I can only make that happen if I set the fields back color.

Now, if you are asking can I change the whole report as opposed to each section then the answer is no you can only set each sections color. But if you are saying that you have set each section and you are still getting white borders then there is definitely a problem there.
