Shortcut Menu Help?

Hello Everyone,

I am very new to access please be patient. Thank U!

I have Allow Shortcut Menus set to (no) because I don't want them to have access to the database etc.

I want to be able to at least have the option to right click and copy and paste. I did some searching and found numerous things on-line about it, but I can't figure them out.

Some say macro's some say Modules... :banghead:

I there anyone that can provide me some help.

To me your post it too broad. For instance, your statement...

"because I don't want them to have access to the database"

...but obviously your users will be using your database. So what, exactly, so you want them to not have access too? Define that better, and you'll get better help.

Also...

What did you find specifically? What exact part of that was hard to understand? Pick the one that seemed most promising to you.

Hi Mark, Sorry about that... I have a form that I run in front of access so If I right click with the mouse people can access access by design view etc. I don't want anyone behind the scenes to mess around with any of the setting or to change anything. This is why I disabled the Allow Shortcut Menus.

Other people were mentioning using macros and even Modules but I have no experience in creating such a code. Everything I read on-line did not show complete codes to do so.

I need to have the ability to right click with the mouse to copy and paste with in the form.
