Question Should be Combo Box 101 ......issue

In my combo box I have several names. When I select a new name, I should get a new record. This is so simple; I just can't put my hands on it.
I have attached the db. Please tell me what I am doing wrong.

Ok, just figure it out, duh me had to use a Goto command with add New Action. I was thinking backwards again. I need a drink

I assume you mean the combo named "Employee"? There's no code behind it. Why would it create a new record? As is, it should populate the Employee field in the displayed record.
