Site Performance

Once again the site as ceased to be viable late morning to about 13:00 UK time.

I have a post on the abortion thread not counted because the site crashed or atleast appeared to whilst the post was winging its way.

is there a certain amount of bandwidth alotted for the site? how much does it have anyway? or is that even an issue with a site this big ?

The freq of the slowdowns and/or crashes is particularly frustrating

I have noticed that the site is very slow at about 7AM Eastern Time (Noon UK time).
This is when I get up in the AM. It has gotten so bad that I don't even try to get on until mid-morning.

Must be a high speed thing - the speed is constant 24/7 on dialup at 32.2k
