Because of my consultative links with the travel and leisure business I was today interviewed on day time TV about a new organisation known by the above title.

This Internet firm, based in San Francisco, have a scheme by which, upon
Members submitting a profile online, they will undertake to match similar people for the purposes of sharing hotel rooms when travelling, thereby achieving a
cost saving for both parties.

Since my clients and their clients are wealthy, successful and sophisticated, I advised the interviewer that no one I knew would even remotely consider the idea and that it would only appeal to the impoverished down and out losers that unfortunately nowadays are so commonplace .

Do the down and out losers that frequent all website Forums agree with me on this matter ?

I would not do such a thing. You don't know who you are going to be with and that is such a risk I would think anyone considering it might not be in their right mind.

I can assure you that every word of my post is completely true. I expect that the hotel agency have a website ( I was certainly told that they do ), so why not check it out to see if what I say, in principal, is true. I did omit one thing, I.E. that after the TV interview I was rung by several major national newspapers for interviews, but other than that the story is just as I say it is.

Sorry to disappoint you, Cobber, but I doubt that the agency will match up a woman with a man. Mind you, since they appear to not want to be too
interventionist, they may well take their guidance from their clients.

As to whether or not that permits a drongo to match up with a dingo, is entirely a different matter.

I guess I am one of the losers (income after taxes < $50,000/year). Anyhow, if I was single and if I wanted to stay at a nicer accommodations and if I thought I could trust my roommate. I have had a number of questionable roommates in the past, some I did not get a choice on (be an employee at a National Park). I might consider sharing a room (not necessarily a bed) with someone I did not know (valuables in the hotel safe), if I can get enough reliable information about them..

Compadre, this could be right up your street then ! I am positive that the booking / pairing agency will be taking every conceivable step to prevent
mismatches, especially those from which problems may well arise. After all,
the success of their business depends upon it. They will also be providing
profiles that give sufficient details of your room sharer in order for correct
judgements to be made, and for the same reason.

It is interesting that you are from Central California and the agency is from
Frisco. Maybe Californians are more adventurous than most ?

As it happens, I have an extremely comfortable lifestyle. I have just bought myself a new Bentley , for example. But I spent several hours late last night on my iPad just trying to find the cheapest Calvin Klein " Obsession " after shave that I could buy ! Oh, and the pleasure when I found it !

Is Bill Gates not a King Nerd ? How many ferking Bentleys could he own, or maybe does own ? Not only that , but not making sense has NEVER been a criteria for being either true or otherwise. As far as my joining this forum is concerned, I did so when Googling on the subject of non moderated forums.
I was quite put off by the alleged aggressiveness of those forums, and somehow got directed to this one. More than that I cannot say, other than I am not a Col whatever they are, although until Court Martialled many years ago, I was likely to achieve the rank of Lt. Col. ( Lieutenant Colonel ). Regrettably, I progressed no further than Major ( temporary ), although I did avoid being cashiered.

I need some help here, amigo. I'm struggling with your use of the double negative. Is it a deliberate ploy to confuse and overthrow your enemies,
or is it ( God forbid ! ) how you usually choose to express yourself ?

Oh yes. One last thing. Would it make you feel better if I started signing myself
