I have been working away and got the tool working how he wants it. Now he wants it changed...of course.

I have one field of data it is a list of numbers. For simplicity The data is like:

1
2
3
4
5

and so on.

My boss just sent me a mark up and he is asking for it to display on the form like:

1 2 3 4 5 6
7 8 9 10 etc

Can I do this in a sub form structure using columns or similar or do i change this to a text box so I can display this way?
 
Try using a crosstab query as the subform recordsource.
However, be aware that the form will then be read only
 
Didn't consider cross tab as there isn't any other data than the number. Smart.

Decided its easier to use the text box. At least it will look something like he wants. GRRR!
 
crosstab will give you

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 etc

it could be used as a recordsource in a report utilising columns (reports can be shown as a 'subform' in a form.

Another option is to use a disconnected recordset.


But the requirement is way to vague to provide any real advice.
