Some things to ponder about.

Both "bird" and "chick" are used in Australia but "chick" would be far more commonly used by younger blokes.

"woman" is also use a lot by age 50 and over blokes. Of course we also think women should dress in white to match the colour of the other appliances:)

Like this...

Ah...much like the American term "chick" which means the same thing.

Yes, but obviously we wouldn't use an Americanism in public in the UK as one would be beaten to a pulp. Any display of affiliation with the USA is totally a no-go area.

Hopefully this is a minority position.

Not really - my quote was from a TV show discussion shown the other night. There is no question that America and Americans are not the most favourite people.

Don't forget to say you're Canadian if you visit the UK. (as your government advise)

The term "chick" went out of fashion here in the last century, 'course we've always made mention of the fact that some countries still live way in the past:rolleyes::cool:

Because you know so much about not only what other UK citizens think, but also you know so many Americans personally that you can come to an honest conclusion that Americans are terrible.

You you comment about racism in the US. Hypocrite?

Your double use of the word "you" seems a little strange. I'm not sure if you're asking a question or making some kind of statement.

Could you try it in correct English grammar please?

I can recommend a good English grammar book if it helps you. It's especially good for foreigners.

That's only because you you don't understand proper English. I'm not going to waste any more time trying to teach you you.

If I wanted to be incoherent using English, I would go to Scotland. I certainly wouldn't listen to an American teacher - especially someone who couldn't even perform the simple task of moderating a forum.

Have you and KennyBabe started a failed moderator club?
