I have a database with a whole bunch of our out "stations" so to say. Some of those places have equipment that I want displayed on a form that I am making called "BP_cnfg_frm". Not all the stations have the equipment at them so I need some error handling for "what if the user selects something that doesn't have that equipment". How do I create the error handling for this?

I may need to give a little bit more detail actually now that I play with this a little bit more.

I have a form called "Site_info_frm". It basically gives a general overview of all the "out stations" so to say.

Then at the bottom of the page, I have created command buttons that will open another form and load up information about the equipment at that site. All of my equipment has separate tables because the information that is displayed is different. As for the relationships, the only thing that I have tied together is the site name on all the tables.

I'm not sure if I would call it error handling, but perhaps you can restrict what can be selected to the items at the given location? I don't really understand your structure, or like a design with different tables for different types of equipment, which would seem to complicate this request. You may want to attach the db, or at least a picture of the table relationships.

what I was trying to do was be able for the users to select the station that they want and give the functionality of being able to click a button to give them an over view of the configuration but I just realized, why not just put a button at the bottom that brings them back to the home screen and then let them open up a new form to select the configurations that they want. I was trying to take out a few clicks for the user but as of right now, I'll just do that. Thanks for giving me another point of view!
