"SPARE P****" springs to mind .....

Airing a families private information in public is stooping very low. To do it to enrich yourself when you are already rich is even lower. And to do it to the royal family whilst simultaneously benefiting from its titles is scraping the barrel. Long live the King!

It's really hard for me to sympathize with people so wealthy they have no concept of reality. Plus, unless the family was locking him in a closet or beating him or starving him or otherwise abusing him, I don't have a lot of sympathy for him being the "spare". His branch of the monarchy wasn't supposed to inherit the throne anyway. Who knows, he could somehow still end up king. It is only Will and the 3 kids in front of him unless his father removes him from the line of succession.

If we don't read his words then we have to take what his critics are saying at face value.
I'm happy to.
Although I have to admit, a few months ago I got "Lawn Boy" (or was it Gender Queer?) on audio file in order to finally put to rest in my mind the critics' conflicting claims "it contains ___", "no it doesn't that's a lie", etc. Will someone read the d** book already, the whole thing, so we know what our 6 yr olds are being taught ?? But alas, I never got past the first 20 pages, it was so ridiculous. We may need to pay people to read liberal porn just to be sure! But just one FTE, please! And no royalties, of course.

In Britain nobody can understand why those two are so well respected and regarded in the USA. It seems to be a country that clearly cannot get enough of their opinions and superior knowledge

Says who?

In case you haven't noticed from the rabid Watercooler and Politics threads, there are 2 camps of people in this country. Basically.
Liberals and conservatives. With 90% of all of them claiming to be neither, but still clearly one of the two, no matter what they say.

Generally speaking, there is a yet-smaller camp of Liberals who go about frothing at the mouth hoping to find the next victimized person. Oddly, they are no long satisfied with true minorities, but 'reach' to find people who aren't even in the group to begin with (Kamala Harris, Megan Markle, the most obvious examples). They then hang on their every word of their victimization story to generate more outrage for their fake campaigns. (Many of which are quite successful under the surveillance of Democrat governing party, who has been manipulating them for dominance purpose, just as they did when the Democrats were the party of slavery, they just wised up their tactics a bit now).

That 'smaller' camp of liberals is quite vocal, and owns most of the US media companies. Thus, it may look like America loves them, but America really is just addicted to watching stupid stuff on TV (I admit it, although I no longer do). (like one of the best running shows on TV, a show called Law and Order SVU, which was 100% dedicated to stories of women being raped - pretty weird entertainment, huh??)

Trust me, the vast 75% of normal everyday US citizens find M&M loathsome. Not the candy, the person(a)

I still love reruns of the first few years of L&O, the original version.

Their recent woke ads have been pretty loathsome. I do prefer the peanut version though.

Had the Crown allowed Charles and Camilla to marry the first time we wouldn't be having this conversation. But because Camilla was a divorcee and not of good stature, the charade began. In my opinion, Harry was the product of two parents who did not love each other, and when his mother died at the age of twelve his life started to spiral out of control.

I do have some sympathy for Harry as a child. His world was pretty crazy. Despite his parents' difficulties, I don't see that they both didn't love him. The royal family, like other very wealthy people, don't raise their own children. Diana was an anomaly because she wanted to actually raise the boys. She was a working mother though so it wasn't like she was a housewife. She had a job and she had appointments and trips that kept her away from home every day. So the boys always had live in caretakers. Once Diana was gone, the task was left to the nannies - who had always been there by the way. They just had less to do when Diana was around.

Apparently someone told Harry that being the "Spare" made him worthless when in fact, it set him free. There was a lot less pressure on Harry than there was on Wills as they were growing up and even as adults. Harry got to have a pretty good life and more freedom than Wills had. Just contrast the life Elizabeth lived with that of her sister.

So, all the partying drinking, and drugs started after he met Megan...Okay.

Definitely. According to his Uncle Andy, before he became Harry Markle, he spent his evenings colouring in with his crayons. (his best A-level was B in art, followed with D in geography. Which is presumably why he ended up in the USA, when he'd actually set out to go to Australia)
