Duolingo looks interesting. I'll have to check it out after work.

Welcome aboard! I was raised in Sac. You sound like my daughter, who speaks several languages, Spanish, Russian, Kazakh, Nepali, some German. Her husband speaks a couple of Arab dialects. I've suggested they go on the Amazing Race TV show; they'd always be able to converse with locals.

That would definitely give them an advantage! I would love to see a couple like that in the races. I wonder if that would disqualify them.
