Hi guys,

Pretty big situation here.
I have done a few access databases before, no higher then advance beginner maybe intermediate levels. But ive recently been given a job to do by the company i work for, and its to create a database with this specification:

Input new stock
- where it is (location)
- Rental price
- RRP
- Sell on price
Remove old stock (obselete stock section)
Log in/out equipment
Quantity of equipment
COMPLETE STOCK LIST!

I guess there a few minor questions like what access is better to use, 03 or 07? etc

And then major questions like where do i start? becasue im honestly lost.

Any help will be muchly appreciated

I would suggest to use Access 2003 - mostly because there are more people who can help with suggestions and ideas to get you along the learning curve a bit quicker...

Heads up:

You're not talking about stock control as most people know it. Search in these forums for rental or plant hire applications instead. The good news is that these are much easier to write than true stock control.

What version of Access is installed on the machines of the people that will use the database?
