sub report with primary key as ssn

I have a main report, with employee information... and added a sub report with dependent information, using the ssn as primary key. However, with some of the records it links by last name giving Mr. Jones 20 kids. In other records, it matches the ssn's perfectly even if the step children have last names.
Any clue how to fix this??

You should only link your parent/child with ss# in your subreport.
