Hi All,
First off, excellent forum. Found many solutions here already but this one's got me stumped. Hoping there's a jedi here who will tell me it's easy.
I have a report with a subreport in the header.
Without the link fields set, I get the "The report name "report name" you entered is mispelled or refers to a report that isn't open or doesn't exist."
With the link fields set, report runs but the subreport does not appear, just a blank page.
I'd be eternally grateful if anyone can help me not to lose the remainder of my hair with this.

Q :)

Hi ya,
Thanks for the reply.
Yes there is data in the tables. Basically the subreport is a summary sheet for the main report. Thought using a subreport would be the simplest way to do it.
One other thing that might be relevant is the subreport has a macro in it to zero a counter every time the report cycles past a particular footer. Hope that makes sense.

Q :)

Can you run the subreport on its own and does it populate with data. The Master/Child links act almost like a filter so the report should populate fully if opened on its own.

The misspelled message is a touch worrying. Suggest that the embedded subreport has a name different to that of a report under the reports tab. If you rename a report I am not certain that it would be cascaded through your application. In fact that would be too easy wouldn't it

Hi Again,
Many thanks for the responses. The report does run ok on its own. I've managed to get it to a point where the main and subreport run ok together by removing the call to a macro. Have a feeling though, that I've circumvented the problem rather than solving it. Regarding the spelling of the name of the report, I did wonder whether I'd managed to rename it somewhere and not included the new name somewhere else. Having searched through all the references have been unable to find any typo.
Thanks all
