Hey guys, just learning how to use Access. I'm putting together a costing program and trying to do a on-the-fly summation of production hours, I have 12 items and I do the whole =[VALUE]+[VALUE]+... thing. It's all good until I include the last entry into my expression, up until that it adds them all up fine but as soon as this last one is includeed, I get "#Error". :(

Any thoughts?

What do you mean by "last entry", please?

the last input into the expression, there's supposed to be 12 in total, I get the first 11 fine, but once the 12th is included inside the expression, shit fucks up

So I'm assuming that you have 12 textboxes and one textbox for the sum, please describe more of your db.

No bad words, please. Thank you. My face is turning red. Kids might be answering these questions here.

yes, there are 12 data inputs, and that final box maintains a running total of the hours using a simple summation =[VALUE1]+[VALUE2]+...etc. Like I said, if I leave the 12th input out of the expression it works just fine, but once I include the 12th one, I get "#Error"

And if I can get an answer in the next 20 mins or so that would be great, I'd really like to get this figured out before I go home

Ok, back at it again today, still can't figure out how the hell to get this to work. Any feedback would be appreciated

Nvm, figured it out. I think it may have had a problem with "Move" as the heading of the field. Anywho, changed the name and now it works
